Greeva Vasti is a specialized Ayurvedic therapy in which warm medicated oil is retained over the cervical region (neck) for a specific duration. This localized treatment helps relieve pain, stiffness, and muscular tension in the neck and shoulder region while nourishing the underlying tissues and supporting healthy cervical spine function.

Procedure
. The patient is made to sit comfortably or lie in a prone position.
. A ring is prepared using black gram flour dough and placed around the cervical region to form a leak-proof reservoir.
.Warm medicated oil, selected according to the disease condition, is slowly poured into the reservoir.
.Temperature of the oil is maintained by periodically replacing it with freshly warmed oil.
.Oil is retained for about 20–30 minutes.
.After completion, the oil and dough are removed, followed by gentle massage and mild fomentation if required.
